THE QUESTION EVERY SERIOUS PARENT HAS

Your child may stand out at home. But what does that level really mean in Barcelona?

Local success gives confidence. It does not always give perspective. A player’s real level becomes clearer when the speed, decision-making and football intelligence around them change.

This week replaces assumptions with context. The player trains, adapts and is observed inside a demanding local environment. The family leaves with evidence, honest feedback and a clearer next step.

TWO SESSIONS · ONE REAL ANSWER

A complete day built to reveal the player.

01 · MORNING

High-performance development

Focused sessions led by an elite youth development coach with experience inside professional football environments. Technical detail, speed of execution and position-specific correction prepare the player for the afternoon challenge.

02 · AFTERNOON

Train with local clubs. Be evaluated by football experts.

Every afternoon, the player trains inside a selected local club environment alongside local players of a comparable age and level. GOAT football professionals observe their technique, decision-making, mentality and adaptation in real time. These clubs compete within Catalonia’s youth football system—the same competitive ecosystem that includes the academies of FC Barcelona, RCD Espanyol and Girona FC.

The observation is part of GOAT’s individual player evaluation. It is not an official trial, a scouting process or an affiliation with the clubs named above. Environments depend on age, level, sporting fit and availability; no registration, signing or placement is guaranteed.

LEVEL-MATCHED, NOT ONE-SIZE-FITS-ALL

The environment changes as we learn more about the player.

Before arrival, we speak with the family and review the player’s football context. During the week, the training environment can be adjusted to make the comparison more accurate and the challenge more meaningful.

  2. First integrationA relevant local environment creates the first real comparison.
  3. Professional observationWe assess technical, tactical, mental and adaptation signals.
  4. Progressive challengeWhen appropriate, the club environment changes during the week.
THE ADAPTATION TEST

It is not only how they play when comfortable. It is how they respond when everything is new.

New teammates. Different instructions. Faster decisions. Less time on the ball. A football language they must learn through action. That human challenge is part of the evaluation—and often the part players remember most.
